My Mission

To Enhance Your Talents and Empower You

Being in the education field for the past 33 years has taught me a lot of things.  Education is, itself, an exploration and expansion of the individual. This expansion has no limits. It must be exciting if we just take a moment to think about it and digest the words “has no limits.”

Once my academic studies were completed and having attained what I thought was my highest credential, my work path took on different hats.  I tried banking, and administration and found neither interest nor passion for either.

Teaching came as an unexpected and most incredible friend.  I never thought myself a teacher, or an educator.  But there it was.  The opportunity presented itself in the most unexpected of places and by the most unexpected of people.  The Convent of the Holy Infant Jesus (CHIJ) Nuns approached me while I assisted in a Catechism course run by the Singapore Archdiocese and asked if I would like to teach Speech and Drama.  Feeling an invisible nudge impossible to ignore, I accepted and never looked back after that.  With my education in Literature and English, the theatrical aspects just filled in the many gaps, the academics could not, and I found my calling, I found myself.

I studied, read, and researched as much as I could about theatre and its beginnings.  I made it my mission to attain as many qualifications as possible in the fields of performance and scrutinised the works of acting practitioners like Stanislavsky, Grotowski, Brecht and Meisner.  I shared all I knew with students, and they all went into their own Speech and Drama examinations with more than the syllabi required.  I am proud to say that several of them are in the fields of education and media today, be it in the academics or in the arts.

Just when I thought I could recede a bit, I found myself in the wonderful, and enigmatic world of Aromatherapy.  How did this happen and what is the connection between theatre and Aromatherapy?  My mother had been taken seriously ill some years ago. My cousins, to help provide comfort for her, brought along their essential oils, and began massaging her feet and hands.  It was mind-blowing to see how utterly relaxed she became, and how much more peaceful she looked.

So, because I saw the therapeutic benefits of essential oils, I again entered this new path with a vengeance and began reading and learning as much as I could, about Aromatherapy.  I am still in the process of new discoveries and the learning just does not stop.

The natural lifestyle and way of life have led me to understand our bodies better. There is a constant process of evolution one goes through when one just keeps looking beyond us to see that life is limitless.  And a God of unfathomable and limitless love created each of us to be exactly that – limitless.

Running Communication and Creative workshops are still high in my portfolio.  Helping students with reading skills, enunciation and expression are tools I will always need to share for more inspiring dialogue and connections. To be expressive, share ideas and thoughts, and convey feelings are all part of the natural psyche. And essential oils, a good, healthy diet with moments of exercise all help maintain our calm and focus, while keeping our individual identities.
